Abstract: The Council requires transportation providers to provide Home to School Transport and Transport for Adult Clients both older people and with learning disabilities and complex needs.The purpose of this procurement is to establish a DPS for the provision of Transportation Services for Adults, Children, Looked After Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs (SEN).The term of the contract is for 4 years with the possibility of an optional 3-year extension.The intention is that the DPS is an entirely electronic process and routes will be awarded to providers on the DPS using reverse E-auction. There is no guarantee of business or business volume. The Council is seeking a diverse range of Adults, Children, Looked After Children and Young People-s Transportation including cars, MPV-s, minibuses, small and large accessible vehicles, larger buses and coaches of all sizes capable of transporting wheelchair users.
