Dorset Council is tendering for a contract which will see three existing contracts coming together to form one seamless service. The range of support services covered will include:
• the provision of Advice Guidance and Support to Individuals who are interested in, or who have opted to take a Direct Payment or Individual Service Fund.
• The provision of a Holding Account for Direct Payment recipients who are unable to open and operate, or do not want to operate, a Bank Account.
• The Provision of a Payroll service for Direct Payment recipients The provider will deliver a seamless direct payment support service across the Council. This will ensure that individuals including those in transition from the Children's directorate to Adult services are supported to make decisions appropriate to their care and support needs and which will result in a reduced requirement for commissioned services in the future.
