Description:
South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) - the ‘Authority- - is seeking an experienced Provider (the ‘Provider-) to supply and operate the software for and run Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) pilot services in two separate zones - one in Doncaster and one in Rotherham. SYMCA is commissioning the pilots on behalf of City of Doncaster Council and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council; all three organisations will be represented on the project team overseeing delivery of the contract, alongside the successful Provider.

Users will book journeys on the service via a mobile app supplied by the successful Provider. Users should also be able to book via a landline telephone number which will interface with the same booking system as the mobile app. Journeys may be booked from seven calendar days up to 60 minutes in advance of travel. The successful Provider will supply all vehicles and drivers
