Derbyshire Dales District Council (the Council) is seeking a concessionaire(s) to provide ice cream and refreshments on a concession basis. The procurement is split into lots based on locations. The lots are within the Councils geographic area and include recreational parks, car parks and the Matlock Bath illuminations event (held during September and October)
Available Lots
Lot 1 - Derwent Gardens, Matlock Bath excluding the illuminations period.
Lot 2 - Derwent Gardens, Matlock Bath Illuminations period only.
Lot 3 - Artists Corner, Matlock Bath
Lot 4 - Station Yard Car Park, Matlock Bath
Lot 5 - Recreation Ground, Bakewell
Lot 6 - Granby Road Car Park, Bakewell
Lot 7 - Shawcroft Car Park, Ashbourne
Lot 8 - Hall Leys Park, Park Head and Boating Lake, Matlock
A Concessionaire may bid for multiple lots. Each Lot will be evaluated and awarded in accordance with the evaluation criteria and methodology detailed in the Process Overview Part One document.
Where a concessionaire bids for multiple lots, they must be able to provide the concession on each site in accordance with the specification.
The initial contract is for a fixed 3-year period.
The Lot 1 concession will operate from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2028, excluding the months the illuminations event is held which is currently September and October.
