- Tenders are invited for Dark Side of Earth Fs - Expro Plus Price Range 100-200 Keuro while half of the Earth is illuminated by the Sun, the other half is in darkness. Earth is much harder to observe at night: most traditional remote sensing satellites must operate in daylight conditions, and those that can operate during night-time (e.g. Synthetic Aperture Radars) typically chose to operate in dawn-dusk orbits (i.e. with LTANs or LTDNs around 6AM-6PM) due to power and thermal constraints. Therefore, despite the wealth of valuable information night-time offers, nocturnal events and phenomena are often left unmonitored. The scope of the proposed feasibility study activity is to assess the technical feasibility, and commercial viability of innovative satellite-based downstream services and solutions leveraging on space-based night-time datasets for diverse vertical sectors such as natural resources management, energy efficiency, maritime, financial sector
