****PRELIMINARY MARKET ENGAGEMENT****
The Council is seeking to engage with partners and organisations to gather information and explore potential solutions for delivering safe and effective domestic abuse support in Derbyshire (excluding Derby city). This engagement is being undertaken to explore ideas and seek information through responses from stakeholders to:

• Ensure any future services are well designed, effective and safe, delivering value for money and achieving desired outcomes.
• Explore options for service model delivery.
• Consider the advantages and disadvantages of three commissioning options.
• Make the best use of the combined domestic abuse support budget to best meet the needs of victims and survivors.

It is anticipated that an in-person market engagement event will be held in April 2026 to share the results of this survey and confirm next steps.

Information provided through this engagement will enable Derbyshire County Council to:
• Better understand the solutions, models and services to inform service design and specification development.
• Explore different delivery options and tender approaches.
• Determine the most effective way to deliver services to meet the needs of Derbyshire residents affected by domestic abuse.
