Abstract: Pembrokeshire County Council, on behalf of Cleddau to Coast FLAG (Fisheries Local Action Group) are seeking experienced consultants to undertake a study that will gather data and information, to pave the way for those interested in developing aquaculture within Pembrokeshire.The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) is administered by the European Commission-s Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and the programme is managed in Wales by the Welsh Government. The Managing Authority EMFF in the United Kingdom is the Marine Management Organisation. The Welsh Government is an “Intermediate Body” with both a delegated EMFF financial allocation and responsibility for selecting approving and paying claims to EMFF projects. A percentage of EMFF has been allocated to the Fishing Local Action Group (FLAG) to implement Community Led Local Development (CLLD).The aims of the EMFF are structured around 6 priorities, each with several specific objectives.
