Description : UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) will shortly be embarking on an open OJEU procurement to establish a framework contract for design and build construction services to the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) which will support the British Antarctic Survey's (BAS) Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation Programme (AIMP) to deliver a wide range of projects overseas.
The framework will be intended to cover 10 years.
The estimated framework value is up to a maximum of GBP 500 000 000. Please note there is no guarantee of spend under this framework agreement and all subsequent work will be issued on a call-off basis.
Ahead of commencing this procurement, we would like to raise awareness of this project by way of an industry day where we will introduce our plans for the Antarctic Infrastructure Modernisation Programme (AIMP). Our hope is that in engaging with industry experts that we can ensure that this requirement is well placed when it hits the market in the near future.
