Description:
The works involve the erection of a fully compliant scaffold system to serve a 4-storey structure, incorporating a top hat roof covering for weather protection. The scaffold will include:
- Three high handrails, toe boards, and working platforms at all required levels.
- A Haki staircase tower for safe access and egress.
- Two loading bays, one of which will be fully covered, complete with gates and edge protection.
- Hoist installation and hire for the duration of the project to facilitate material handling.
- A scaffold alarm system for site security.
- Dust decks installed beneath all working platforms to prevent debris fall.
- Fireproof monarflex sheeting applied to the top hat for enhanced fire safety.
- Scaffold netting on all elevations below the top hat for containment and protection.
- Ongoing adaptations throughout the project to accommodate changing site requirements.
The scaffold will be erected, maintained, and dismantled in accordance with current TG20:21 and SG4:22 guidance, ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
