The purpose of the service is to: • Provide a physical Carers Card for the Dorset area and supporting information such as website, and printed material.• Identify and highlight local and national opportunities to Carers for discounts and concessions.• Provide a means of Carer Identification. • Recruit local businesses to participate in the scheme.• Provide access to opportunities to improve Carers wellbeing, physical and mental health. • Promote personal development and participation of Carers in social activities.• Enhance the Carers quality of life and maximise choice and opportunityIt is anticipated that the contract will start January 2023.
