Description : The City of London Corporation are seeking tenders for the delivery of a "Carbon Removals" Study which will provide critical data and guidance towards the City of London's Climate Action Strategy. The Study is made up of five activities, activities one and two involve a calculation of carbon sequestration and storage across all the Open Spaces Department various habitats, and identification of opportunities to increase carbon sequestration and storage and achieve co-benefits in increased biodiversity and ecosystem services. Activities three, four and five involve a carbon removals focused ecosystem services assessment, a wood and agricultural products assessment to contribute towards further carbon removals, and the creation of methodologies and an implementation process for monitoring changes in carbon removals, ecosystem services and biodiversity across the lifespan of the Climate Action Strategy (until March 2027). Tenderers should note that the delivery deadlines for activities 1 and 2 are required by 28.01.2022, and activities 3,4 and 5 are required by 25.02.2022.
