- Tenders are invited for C1147 - Disposal / Recycling of Water Treatment Works Residuals CfT CA Unique ID: NIW-877 Evaluation Mechanism: Best Price-Quality Ratio Description: This Contract is for the following services: -Collection, transportation / haulage and final disposal and/or recycling of approximately 23,000 tonnes per annum of Residuals / Sludge Cake from NI Water and NI Water Alpha Water Treatment Work sites, as detailed at section 2.1 and 2.2 of this specification. - Recycling of Residuals / Sludge Cake, where possible, via a fully approved environmentally certified recycling route(s) or disposed of at a Northern Ireland Environment Agency approved and certified disposal site. - The estimated volumes of sludge to be disposed / recycled of per annum depends on production requirements, weather and drying. - There shall be no guaranteed minimum or maximum volume of residuals / sludge per annum available for disposal and/or recycling under this contract.
