Description : Corserv Solutions Ltd are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified & experienced contractor for :The supply and installation of sheet piles to stabilise the edge of the canal walls in specific locations from Chainage 0 to 87, including corner returns to the South and North ends, at Bude Canal, Cornwall. Cormac Solutions Limited are the Principal Contractor.The subcontractor shall provide all necessary labour, plant/equipment, materials and consumables to execute the works as per the works information within Appendix G, whilst considering all other documentation and information contained within the PCI and appendices.The Subcontractor must assess the works area and access restrictions, ensuring suitable plant and construction methodology.Consideration shall be given to the local area; protection of footpaths and possible use of piling mat or protection matting.The works include the installation of sheet piles to the required design levels, inclusive of cutting and welding. Installation of precast concrete coping by others.A high voltage cable is present within the works area, depth and location to be confirmed prior to works starting on-site - this will necessitate a review of the sheet pilling configuration (inc. welding of waling beam) around this hig...
