Description : Essex County Council (ECC) are looking to provide a countywide approach to Autism Navigation Support. ECC Adult Social Care, hold a joint responsibility with Health colleagues to support Adults in Essex seeking a diagnosis. Support should be made available at all stages of this pathway. Working together, Health and Social Care teams must appropriately support Adults pre-diagnosis, during a clinical diagnostic assessment, and post-diagnosis.It is the intention of the Council to commission a countywide Autism Navigation Service, from September 2021.
