Description : Architectural Design ServiceThis is a MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXERCISE and not a call for competition.Sunderland City Council (SCC) is seeking suppliers to provide a full Architectural Design Service to enable the redevelopment of the Grade II listed Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens.. The redevelopment project is a unique opportunity to reimagine the building, winter gardens, collections, displays and exhibition spaces to maintain current audiences, attract new visitors and for the museum in the longer term to be commercially independent. The successful bidder will provide the Council with specialist architectural services to assist the Council in progressing the project plans for Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens as part of a wider National Heritage Lottery Fund (NLHF) delivery phase application. The Council will require the successful bidders to review and further develop the current RIBA Stage 2 Concept Design and subsequently (subject to securing delivery phase funding) prepare all the tender information, assist in the contractor selection and oversee the delivery of the built environment.
