Description : In January 2023, Malvern Hills District Council was awarded 19,941,040 GBP of Levelling Up Funding for extensions to and improvement of Malvern Theatres, including all professional fees, which is to be delivered in 2 phases.The first phase of the development which is due to be completed in Summer 2023 will see a dedicated creative learning space built at the front of the Theatre.Malvern Hills District Council is looking for suitably qualified Architectural Services for phase 2 of the development.The second phase will deliver the following:1. A 3,190 m2 extension involving the demolition of the existing changing rooms to accommodate the following interactive spaces:a. new studio theatreb. two workshop spacesc. photography film editing and sound studiod. dressing room facilitiese. breakout areas and catering2. The construction of an external amphitheatre overlooking Priory Park3. An external lift to improve access for all members of the community4.
