Description:
715760455 FADS L-USV Accelerator
Provision of a large uncrewed surface vessel (LUSV) on behalf of the Royal Navy (RN) to perform operational trials during a period of up to four (4) years (~2years + options of 1+1years). In this context `Large` is defined as a vessel with a length greater than 24 metres. The trials will demonstrate a range of technical and operational capabilities to provide learning outcomes for future USV platforms. The trials will be split into different phases with later phases to include integration of MOD provided systems. The LUSV will remain under Contractor ownership throughout the trials and will be returned on completion. This demonstration initiative is referred to as the LUSV Accelerator project.
