Description : The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) has the following Opportunity: The Authority intends to hold a Capability Concept Demonstrator (CCD) for Handheld Surveillance and Target Acquisition (STA) capabilities. The CCD event is provisionally planned for w/c 20 March 2023 The Authority invites industry with potential products to demonstrate their equipment at the above CCD trial. The aim of the CCD is to inform requirements capture for User and System Requirements Documents and to inform future Army Balance of Investment (BOI) decisions for future Dismounted Close Combat (DCC) capability.Those companies wishing to demonstrate their products for this event should register their interest and provide the requested information through this Dynamic Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.All STA products to be demonstrated must meet the following technical requirements: 1. The ability to detect a human target in low and zero light at a minimum range of 1km. 2. Should be a small, lightweight handheld device, that is stowable in a pocket/ammo pouch.3.
