Description:
The Council is seeking to engage with providers who can deliver high-quality, innovative care and support within a new 60-unit Extra Care Housing scheme in Holloway, due to open in Autumn 2027.
Providers should be able to respond to the increasing complexity of need in Islington-s population, including frailty, dementia, autism, learning disabilities, and mental health. We are particularly interested in models that promote independence, integration with health services, and reflect best practice in digital care and assistive technology. Please see attachment document Commissioning Vision for further context.

An online market engagement event will be held on 11 September 2025. This will include borough context, commissioning intentions, and procurement timelines. Providers will also be invited to complete a survey and participate in one-to-one discussions with commissioners.
